The Blood of Dawnwalker release date and time
The confirmed September 3, 2026 release date, current availability and why regional stores can show a different calendar day.
The Blood of Dawnwalker launched on September 3, 2026. It is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with the official site linking Steam, GOG, PlayStation and Xbox stores. GeForce NOW and Xbox’s PC/cloud ecosystem are also listed, but availability can vary by region and account.
Release status
| Item | Confirmed status |
|---|---|
| Global publisher date | September 3, 2026 |
| PC stores | Steam and GOG; Xbox on PC is also promoted by Xbox |
| Consoles | PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S |
| Cloud option | GeForce NOW appears on the official site; Xbox lists cloud access in supported regions |
| Previous-generation console edition | No PS4 or Xbox One version is listed |
Bandai Namco’s launch announcement and the official game site both use September 3. The Steam, PlayStation and Xbox pages should be treated as the final authority for whether the game is unlocked on a particular account.
Why one store may show September 2
Digital stores convert a planned unlock into the account’s local time. A simultaneous worldwide release late on September 2 in an American timezone can already be September 3 in Europe or Asia; a regional listing can therefore show a different calendar date without contradicting the publisher’s global September 3 label.
Do not convert a screenshot from another country and assume it applies everywhere. Store pages can also change from a countdown to “available” at slightly different moments because of platform processing or edition entitlement checks.
How to verify your local unlock
- Sign in to the exact Steam, PlayStation or Xbox account you will use.
- Confirm the account country or store region.
- Open the owned edition, not a search result or retailer listing.
- Use that page’s countdown, install status or play button as the local answer.
- If the date has passed but access is blocked, restart the store client and verify that the transaction is for the full game rather than an add-on.
What changed at launch
Older articles call the game “upcoming” or refer only to wishlisting. Those statements are now stale. As of this page’s September 3 check, the official site says Available Now, and the publisher has posted its launch announcement. Pre-release release-time articles remain useful only for their historical schedule, not for current availability.
